ISO 9001 Lift Cert
Well known in the UK, ISO 9000 accreditation and its family address various aspects of quality management and contain some of ISO’s best known standards. Now recognised across the Globe to measure quality standards and services, we are proud that Niche Lifts has been accredited with ISO 9001:2008 since 2008. The standard relates to the Company’s measurable ability to consistently meet customers’ quality requirements. To obtain this accreditation, the Company also has to demonstrate its approach and execution of process management procedures across all areas of the business.
CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme)
The CHAS accreditation is based on an assessment by CHAS to establish if a supplier can adequately manage health and safety. Niche Lifts has shown compliance with the required elements of health and safety law as described in the CDM regulations (Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007) as stated by the HSE (Health & Safety Executive). For those not fully conversant with these regulations, it means that Niche Lifts approach to safety on-site and subsequently actual work on-site fully comply with existing regulatory legislation.
Niche Lifts undertakes work in a range of customer environments so ensuring workplace safety is vital for our employees, contractors and all who come into contact with us when working on-site. To demonstrate our commitment to safety in the workplace, Niche Lifts participated in a Safe Contractor accreditation assessment scheme run by the UK’s widely respected Safe Contractor organisation.
